  8. This perl script will take an amigaguide file, and convert it into a directory
  9. of html files so that it can be served as an information source to the world
  10. wide web.
  11.  
  12. An application to access the world wide web, using either AS225 or AmiTCP
  13. networking is almost complete and will be released shortly.
  14.  
  15. This translator is, of course, incomplete, and without warantee of any kind.
  16. It has only been tested extensively on AmiReport guide files.
  17.  
  18. A perl interpreter which could  interpret previous versions of
  19. this program can be found on aminet in 
  20. dev/lang/perl4.035-V010.lzh; none of the fancier facilities of perl are
  21. used, so you should be able to  use binary from this distribution directly.

  23. If not, you could try the old version of this script in guide2html.lha, which is
  24. known to work with perl on the amiga.  I only use this script on a unix workstation, so
  25. I don't guarantee that it will run on amigas, but it should.
